Pictures of our House

So I'm going through the Home Study packet and our Dossier paperwork...feeling a bit overwhelmed.  Phew!  Paperwork isn't my thing.  Neither is being organized.  But I'm either getting a bit delirious from lack of sleep...or that this really is quite funny.

One of the requirements in the Home Study is to have 1 picture of the outside of your home.  Check.Good to go here...

Three pictures of the inside of your house.  In small print it says "don't make your house look too clean, which may seem unwelcome to a child."

These are the thoughts that immediately went through my head...

What does a house that is too clean look like?  Never had that problem. Nor will I probably ever.

My problem is, which room looks decent enough to snap a photo of...that appears welcoming to a child?

The one with the HUGE deer head...and scattered baby toys?

Or...my current office/dinner table/collecting plate of change/Play Doh stand...and I could go on and on.

Or the messy kitchen, complete with an overflowing rice cooker, pan full of grease on the oven, half-roll of paper towels in my fruit box...I could at least light the candle to reflect some soft lighting.

Decisions, decisions.
